2025 Work Day Schedule

The tentative 2025 work day schedule is live! Take a look and plan your season with Friends of the Peak!

We are dedicated to minimizing human impact while maximizing human enjoyment on Pikes Peak.

Pikes Peak is our most treasured natural landmark in Colorado Springs. Friends of the Peak works to provide a unified, proactive voice for the preservation and restoration of the natural environment of Pikes Peak. We promote and enhance recreational opportunities and visitor experiences that are in harmony with the natural environment. We encourage and participate in research and solutions for the sound stewardship of Pikes Peak and promote awareness of and education of Pikes Peak.

We are incredibly grateful for our partners in support of Pikes Peak and our organization.

Volunteer Opportunities

Friends of the Peak organize workdays and other events throughout the year in which we get on the trails and perform necessary work to maintain our trail systems. This work provides safety for adventurers in our mountain range, as well as enhances our overall experience on Pikes Peak. We call on our community to volunteer and help us do this work in support of our mountain.
